- For the similar technique, see Forward Somersault Dribble.
The Heel Lift (ヒールリフト, hīru rifuto) is an individual skill play which is used to dribble and trick opponents by using the heel of the player's foot.
Description[]
In this technique, the player kicks the ball up with his heel, sending it over the heads of his opponents, then slips past them while the ball is outside their field of vision.
While Tsubasa uses this technique several times against his opponents, they can also find a way to counter this feint, as this happened with Hyuga by making an Overhead Pass; a similar version was made by Santana since he had no trouble in gaining the upper hand with Tsubasa's feint in the Rio Cup tournament.
