- For the section of other versions of these characters, see Tachibana twins (RoNC) and Tachibana twins (Tecmo)/Techniques.
This is the section about the Tachibana twins' techniques, during the Captain Tsubasa series.
Techniques[]
Headers[]
- Skylab Hurricane: With Kazuo sliding with his back to the floor, he launches Masao up to head the ball directly into goal. They only limit to a launch per half, and it takes huge toll on their knees and ankles. They can launch from any angle, and use a low-diving variation to defeat Nankatsu's tactic of camping on top of the goalpost while Tsubasa is absent. An offset ability to this is on defense, Masao can be launched by Kazuo to repel shots toward the goal. However, it didn't work the first time as Masao was short and fell onto the grass.
Shots[]
- Twin Shot: Both Twins trained to learn and master the Nankatsu's Golden Combi cooperative shot.
- Skylab Twin Shot (with Hiroshi Jito)
Volleys[]
- Triangle Shot: Starting with the twins separating, Masao pretending to trap the ball, he pushes towards the goalpost to perform a jumping headed pass to Kazuo, who would perform a volley. When they first performed it, Masao crashed into Nishio upon landing. Masao was unharmed, Nishio suffered injuries to his knee.
