On the short break, Toho's headmaster is satisfied with Toho's performance so far. On the audience, both Kira, Ms. Matsumoto and Hyuga's mother comment about Hyuga's sole interest in beating Tsubasa and how this objective has made him grow up. Mikami finally has completed the list of the selected members for the campaign in Europe but will announce them after the match.
Toho's coach mentions Hyuga that he entrusts him the game to him. On the other hand, Nankatsu has prepared a new strategy. Tsubasa is now in the front goal! In fact, This is a coutner measure, when Tsubasa was part of Nankatsu elementary school, they used this tactic with Tsubasa as a sweeper defender against Shutetsu. This is made intentionally so that Toho cannot score any goal. Hyuga kicks off and evades Kisugi and Taki with a jump, lands and gets in shoot position at the same time. Tsubasa is ready, and blocks directly the Tiger Shot, but as he repelled, he is still blown off and crashes on the goal post. Hyuga says "Tsubasa, you are my goal... I'll really knock you down, completely, no matter if you're injured or not, you have defeated me too much already".
So, Toho's ace striker shoots again but this time, Oda, Ishizaki and Takasugi jumped in front of the Fierce Tiger and block the shot. Now, there's a furious succession of offense and defense in the middle of the field. No one gives truce. In the middle of this struggle, Wakashimazu has overlapped and takes the boal recklessly, encouraging his captain to continue the attack and passes him the ball. Meanwhile, Tsubasa is shaken by Morisaki, so he's asked to resist, remembering him how he inspired Nankatsu's keeper to believe in himself. Now, the Toho trio attacks and Sorimachi shoots, but Morisaki repels. Getting the loose ball, Koike shoots again but, thanks to a Face Block, Nankatsu's captain manages to defend again. Hyuga is surprised with Tsubasa's struggle again and again, and wonders, what's his dream? and more importantly, why can't he win against Tsubasa?
