Furano won the Hokkaido prefectural qualifier and qualified for the 16th National Middle School Soccer Tournament. They were said to be the 3rd favourites of the tournament, after Nankatsu and Toho. Their teamwork was considered the best in Japan.

Home: White jersey with white polo collar, black ふらの hiragana script with red outline and broad red stripes with black edges on the sleeves, black shorts and white socks with a three red stripes.
Keeper (Manga): Dark green uniform with polo collar, long sleeves and ふらの hiragana script with white outline, light green shorts and white socks. This uniform can be seen on a Weekly Shonen Jump colored page.
Keeper (Dream Team): Dark tan collared uniform with long sleeves and the ふらの hiragana script with white outline, with beige shorts and white socks with three black stripes.
During the match against Nankatsu, hachimaki made of white cloth, with the players' jersey numbers embroidered onto each of those were included in the kit.
In Weekly Shonen Jump #31/1984 supplement, Tsukuro Dream Team and Tatakae Dream Team, Sase's given name is written as 靖 instead of 清. The reading is not consistent between said media, however - it is Yasushi in #31/1984, and Osamu in Tatakae Dream Team.
Curiously enough, Rise of New Champions used the 清 kanji in the Japanese version, which cannot be translated to Yasushi in the first place, yet the English version still went with Yasushi.
This might be a mistake from 3109 Nichi Zenkiroku, as Kamata and Sase have some physical resemblances and are playing in the same position. However, this has never been confirmed.
