Golden Combi (ゴールデンコンビ, gōruden konbi) is a term which describes a duo of players who clearly understand each other and/or have played alongside each other for a long time.
Description[]
Even though the term refers to some specific duos of players, most of the time it is used for combination plays performed by those duos instead. The most common kind of technique that is usually called Golden Combi is a 2-man combination pass, which consists of fast, one touch passes and runs, between two players, making the opponents unable to keep up. Other examples are switches or combination tackles.

Trivia[]
- There is a common misunderstanding that all 2-man combination passes in the series are called "Golden Combi". This is untrue however, as there are duos that are called with a different name or not named at all. For example, both the Teppei Kisugi - Hajime Taki and the Luciano Leo - Pepe duos are called Silver Combi, while Masao and Kazuo Tachibana are simply called Tachibana twins without any special names given.
