Jito's Sliding Shot

Dribbles and feints[]

  • Power Dribble: The player uses his brute strength to push forward, sending any opponents who try to stop him flying. As he can also run faster than Hyuga, his power dribble is more powerful than him in turn. He was able to defeat many Nankatsu players with this technique.

Ground shots[]

  • Power Shot: A long to mid-range shot. However, when he shoots from short range, the power can send goalkeepers into the the goal with the ball.
  • Sliding Shot: The player runs up and slides into the ball without slowing down, launching it in a low, sharp trajectory.

Interceptions[]

  • Forcible Interception: This fierce technique is used to go after the ball even when it seems too far away to reach.

Cooperative tactics[]

  • Combination Play 1: Hirado Combi's shot. Jito overlaps and does a bullet shot, shoots, then Sano heads the ball to alter its trajectory, sending it in the opposite direction from the keeper.
  • Combination Play 2: Hirado Combi's shot. Jito sends a backspin pass directly into the keeper area, who thinks he can easily catch the ball, but then the ball bounces and spins back just as in a golf course, tricking the keeper so that the ball goes directly into Sano's legs who does a shot.
  • Combination Play 3: Hirado Combi's shot. Jito shoots, then Sano alters the ball trajectory with an overhead, catching the keeper off-guard.
  • Descending Raiju Shot: A bold Special Skill from Jito and Hyuga. Jito steels himself and offers his back as a stepping stone for Hyuga to jump up high before swiftly launching Raiju Shot the moment he lands.

Scramble Face Block

Skylab Twin Shot ep25 (2001) 1

Skylab Twin Shot

  • Scramble Face Block: Ishizaki uses Jito's strong legs to jump towards the ball and block it with his face. He first did this to block Galvan's jumping lariat on the goal post before the final whistle of the match between Japan Jr. and Argentina Jr.
  • Skylab Twin Shot: Jito serves as launch pad for the Tachibana Twins, launching them from the soles of his left and right feet at a low angle. Still hurtling through the air, they then unleash a twin shot while the ball is flying low.
  • Skylab Interception: A special Skylab hurricane variation where he assists Jun Misugi for being able to do a ball interception or block a shot from the opponent.

Defensive techniques[]

Jito ep42 (2018) 7

Power Block

  • Launching Tackle: When tackling an opponent trying to escape above, Jito is moving his leg up, effectively tackling and launching the opponent in the air.
  • Power Defense: Jito's way of defense relying on his physique, utilizing his superior raw power. In terms of block, he uses his tempered body to stop the incoming shot, repelling it with overwhelming power alone, being able to block the Drive Shot twice (failing a third time).

Passes[]

  • Strong Pass: This powerful pass travels at a high speed with a sharp trajectory, making it difficult to intercept.
