Japanese club selection (日本クラブ選抜) is a special team that appeared in the Tecmo game series.
Description[]
Japanese club selection is a special team participate in the World Club Cup as a club. It consists of players in the Japanese University Championship, as well as Wakabayashi, Misaki and Matsuyama, overseas players who only join for the tournament[1], as requested by Munemasa Katagiri. They eventually become Sao Paulo's opponent in the final.

In Tecmo games, numbers are fixed to position and/or formation rather than players. Prior to Captain Tsubasa V: Hasha no Shogo Campione, substitutes don't have numbers.
