History[]

Captain Tsubasa (MCD) & Captain Tsubasa (FC)[]

Main article: Jun Misugi

Captain Tsubasa II: Super Striker[]

The Young Noble of the Field. He was once the most promising player for the Japan Football Association, back when he was a boy. However, due to a heart condition, he was unable to play to his full potential. However, his brilliant techniques are second to none, being comparable to Tsubasa's and Misaki's, and his defensive sense is superb. In Musashi, he only plays in the second half because of his heart, but his leadership will improve Musashi's team power. Be careful of Musashi in the second half!

Misugi was part of Musashi Attached HS, participating in the Japanese high school football tournament. Later, he became part of All Japan Youth in the World Youth tournament.

Captain Tsubasa III: Kotei no Chosen[]

Although he is as good as Tsubasa and Misaki, his heart condition makes him unable to run around the field as much as other players. Therefore, he usually looks after his friends in a coach-like position.

Misugi was a coach and player of All Japan Youth, taking part in the Universal Youth.

Captain Tsubasa IV: Pro no Rival-tachi[]

Although he is unable to play full time due to a heart condition, his excellent soccer sense is by no means inferior to Tsubasa's. If used at critical moments, he will produce better results than anyone else.

Prior to the events in the game, Misugi and Musashi Laurels reached the finals of the university football tournament, but ultimately lost to Nanbu University Fussball.

Captain Tsubasa V: Hasha no Shogo Campione[]

At first, Misugi acted as a member of Japan's coaching staff, keeping an eye on the overseas players. However, since Nitta refused to join, Misugi decided to play full-time as a forward in the Asian Cup to fill the hole in that position. His heart condition resurfaced during the final against South Korea, but he recovered afterwards. Misugi then continued to play in the World Tournament as a substitute.
