Overhead Tiger (オーバーヘッド タイガー, ōbā heddo taigā) is Hyuga's powerful, acrobatic header shot.

Description[]

This is basically a diving overhead made with the Tiger Shot developed by Hyuga. It is considered his greatest skill achieved during the National middle school tournament. With the assistance of Sawada to do a higher jump, he goes straight from a back-flip, doing a somersault and then turn it into an overhead kick, giving the ball incredible force.

Variations[]

  • Twin Overhead (w/ Sawada): This shot is less powerful than the Overhead Tiger since the shot is unbalanced due to Sawada and Hyuga's shooting power difference, but still this uneven effect produces an instability which curves the trajectory of the ball so that the keeper cannot grab it.
