Rolling Overhead Kick (ローリングオーバーヘッドキック/シュート, rōringu ōbāheddo kikku) is a more advanced technique of the Overhead, combining it with a rotation movement in mid-air with the leg.
Description[]
Just like a regular overhead, the overhead kick is a way to shoot a ball in the air with the leg, rather than using, for example, a header. This signature move from Santana is simply adding a rotation to get into position for the overhead. Tsubasa learnt this technique after his first confrontation with Santana in the Rio Cup tournament.
Santana used this shot against both Wakabayashi and Muller in different tournaments, and it was not effective. In the second case, Pepe assisted after taking advantage of a ball bounce to score against Germany.
