In order to play the match against the American team:

• Clear the normal route (with Germany Junior as the final opponent).
• On a subsequent playthrough, rank up Ryan's friendship from the start, and when given the choice, select the option of telling him that he cannot win with data-based soccer (it will be marked as "starts America Route").

If all conditions are met, USA will become Japan's opponent in the finals.
