Shutetsu Elementary School (修哲小学校, Shutetsu shōgakkō) is an elementary school football team that appeared in the Captain Tsubasa manga series.

Description[]

Shutetsu ES is an elementary school team from Nankatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. The football club has a high number of members, which allows Shutetsu to have a B team.

History[]

I'm Genzo Wakabayashi! The Birth of the SGGK[]

The football club of the private Shutetsu Elementary School was one of the most successful in Japan. They won the national championship thanks to the genius goalkeeper Genzo Wakabayashi and fellow 5th graders who trained together with him.

Ozora Family Moving Out[]

Because of Shutetsu's achievement, Kodai Ozora also chose Shutetsu for his son Tsubasa to attend when he decided to move to Shizuoka.

In Endless Dream, many friends of Tsubasa took part in a special match between Nankatsu and Shutetsu as guest members.

Uniforms[]

  • Home: White shirt with white polo collar with black stripe, black S.F.C. logo on the chest, black shorts and white socks.
  • Keeper: Red jersey with black S.F.C. logo on the chest, white polo collar, black pants with three horizontal white stripes. For Wakabayashi, he also wears a red Adidas cap with Adidas trefoil logo.
