Skydive Shot (スカイダイブシュート, sukaidaibu shūto) is Tsubasa's ultimate skill in the Battle of World Youth arc.

Description[]

For this technique, Tsubasa uses the ball to enter into the goal to score. The technique was completed by his own means without relying on his mentor Roberto, and while keeping the ball, he pulled out all the other players and jumped to the goal.

History[]

During the Battle of World Youth arc, Tsubasa was developing such skill since the 1st Asian qualifiers tournament. It was a skill to go over the tackle of the opponent, or to kick up the opponent's foot and accelerate it, by repeating the training to jump over the hurdles that were piled up many times as the opponent player. Roberto accused him of "a play without self-reliance on allies," but instead developed it into "a technique to trust allies" in which his teammates were forced to hold his body during the finals against Brazil Youth to determine the goal. With this goal they equalize with Brazil.

Tsubasa uses this technique with a special dribble surpassing all his opponents with the ball like it's stuck to him and dives at the goal by himself, as an individual technique, different than when shown in the manga.
