Skylab Twin Shot (スカイラブツインシュート, sukairabu tsuin shūto) is a combination trademark technique of the Tachibana Twins with Jito.

Description[]

In this combination play, Jito serves as launch pad for the Tachibana Twins, launching them from the soles of his left and right feet at a low angle. Still hurtling through the air, they then unleash a Twin Shot while the ball is flying low. This is a variation of the Skylab Hurricane, and can thus still be called like that[1].

Story[]

Captain Tsubasa arc[]

One of the signature moves of the Tachibanas' aerial football. Three people are needed for this, one is acting as a launching pad by lying on the ground while the others are docking on his teammates' feet before being launched. Then, both catapulted players must perform a Twin Shot. Since this technique was shown in the match against Argentina, Pierre was able to do an Overhead Clear to block the Tachibana's Skylab Twin Shot during the extra time of the semifinals.

Rise of New Champions arc[]

The Tachibanas and Jito learn this move when achieving high Friendship Ranks with the three of them quickly enough in Episode of New Hero. There is no Special Mission involved for New Hero custom characters to obtain it, but two Extra Events must be triggered in order to obtain it with the custom character taking Jito's role.
