The Tachibana twins (立花兄弟, Tachibana kyōdai, lit. "Tachibana brothers"), Masao Tachibana (立花 政夫, Tachibana Masao) and Kazuo Tachibana (立花 和夫, Tachibana Kazuo), are twin brothers which are also Japanese players.
Description[]
This is the Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions depiction of the Tachibana twins. They wear the jerseys #2 and #3 in the Japanese Junior team.
During the National middle school tournament and in the Junior Hero League, they use the jerseys #9 and #10 for Hanawa MS.
History[]
National tournament
The events happened similar to the Boys' Fight arc, where they faced Nankatsu MS and Tsubasa during the 3rd round of the tournament.
Episode of New Hero
While on the Hanawa Route of Episode of New Hero during the Junior Hero League, the Tachibanas come up with the idea of a new technique, in order to avoid any counters. So, instead of using a Triangle Jump header to start the Triangle Shot, the Tachibanas use the Skylab Hurricane with Kazuo directing the header at the New Hero custom player to shoot, thus creating the Skylab Triangle. It requires added teamwork but eliminates the need to use an opposing goalpost.
