Trivia[]

  • This team is known as Colegio Superior in the Latin American Spanish dub, Toju in the European Spanish dub (which is an almost phonetic rendering of the Japanese pronounciation of "Toho" in Spanish language) and Toho School in the French and Italian dubs (due to the prominence of the team's fans with the team name written on their shirts in the 1983 anime).
  • In chapter 63 of the manga, Konishi appeared to be Toho's opponent in the 3rd round, and their match was played simultaneously with Nankatsu - Hanawa, another 3rd round match. However, this was a mistake from the author, since according to the tournament table shown in chapter 64, Konishi could only face Toho in the 2nd round.

Notes[]

  1. During the matches that Hyuga was benched.
  2. Appeared as 3rd round opponent in chapter 63, see Trivia section for more information.
  3. Mistakenly shown as Iwase MS, Myoko's opponent in the 2nd round, on page 129 of 3109 Nichi Zenkiroku. This was corrected on page 153.
  4. The given name 勝治 is read as Katsuharu in Weekly Shonen Jump #31/1984 supplement and Masaharu in Tatakae Dream Team.
