Tsubasa Ozora (大空 翼, ōzora tsubasa), is the playmaker and pivot player of Japan.

Description[]

This is the Rise of New Champions depiction of Tsubasa Ozora, the protagonist of the Captain Tsubasa series.

Nankatsu MS's midfielder. Won Nationals twice in a row with his ability to assimilate moves. He's forever a football kid. He used Roberto's notes to train. He faced strong opponents but learned the Drive Shot and won Nationals three times. He trained hard and developed the Neo Drive Shot to take on the world's strongest teams and put his team on top. He wears the jersey #10 for Japan Junior.

Tsubasa acquires this in-game during the Junior Youth World Challenge quarterfinal against Argentina in Episode: New Hero. New Hero custom players may then acquire this after obtaining S Friendship Rank with Tsubasa and completing a Special Mission involving getting a A Shooting Rank with Drive Shot equipped in the Junior Youth World Challenge Final or achieving Friendship Rank S with both Tsubasa and Kojiro Hyuga by the semifinal and choosing to learn the Neo Drive Shot.

A Drive Shot that can be used as a Miracle Drive Shot that seems to miss, then bounces in. (Has hidden/alternate Miracle Drive Shot from, designated by star icon).

Tsubasa acquires this in-game during the Junior Youth World Challenge quarterfinal against Argentina in Episode: New Hero. New Hero custom players may then acquire this version by clearing the Neo Drive Shot Special Mission and having at least Friendship Rank B with Ryo Ishizaki.

Super Shot (Combo)
The ultimate twin shot, combining the Neo Drive Shot and the Neo Tiger Shot.

Tsubasa and Hyuga acquire this if Japan fails to score with their first three shots on goal in the Junior Youth World Challenge Final in Episode of New Hero. New Hero custom players may obtain it after a Special Mission that involves first achieving Friendship Rank S with both Tsubasa and Hyuga by the semifinal, which triggers two Extra Events. To have Tsubasa as the partner, choose to learn the Neo Tiger Shot.

All-Japan Twin Shot

The Japanese Golden Duo's secret weapon, a co-op shot made via perfect synchronization.

Misaki is the default partner, but New Hero custom players may acquire an All-Japan Twin Shot with Tsubasa by completing an Appeal Mission involving getting a high Friendship Rank with Tsubasa and achieving S Shooting Rank 8 times.

Nankatsu Golden Duo
Combo Pass
A coordinated chain of passes that brings the ball a great distance forward. Can only be intercepted with Rapid Dash.

Misaki is the default partner, but New Hero custom players may acquire a Golden Duo combo pass with Tsubasa by completing an Appeal Mission involving getting a high Friendship Rank with Tsubasa and achieving S Passing Rank 9 times.

South American Dribble
Dribble
A common South American dribble where the player slides the ball past with a gentle touch.

Requires Friendship Rank C with Tsubasa before the final Junior Hero League game against Nankatsu, after which a Special Mission must be completed involving getting a S Dribbling Rank.
(20% Spirit Cost, 10 Cost, A Base, A Technique, A Speed, Large Speed boost on success with added large Offense boost on chain success)

Heel Lift
Dribble
A dribble that hides the ball from the opponent by sending it overhead. Requires Appeal Mission involving getting Friendship Rank C or D with Tsubasa and a D Friendship Rank with Ishizaki.

Drive Pass
Long Pass
A long pass that uses the usual trajectory to make it harder to intercept. Requires Appeal Mission involving getting B Friendship Rank with Tsubasa and achieving S Passing Rank 4 times.

Shoulder Charge
Tackle
A tackle that knocks the opponent back with the shoulder before stealing the ball.

Skillful Sliding
Tackle
A technical slide to smooth out the transition after the ball is stolen.
(20% Spirit Cost, 8 Cost, A Base, C Power, B Technique, B Damage and Defense drop on success)
Full Power Play
Captain Skill
Nankatsu's and Japan's V-Zone. When V-Zone is active, greatly increases all stats for the entire team. Requires Appeal Mission involving getting a High Friendship Rank with Tsubasa and achieving A Overall Rank 8 times. (6 Cost)
Super Ace
Skill
Greatly raises all stats when receiving the ball after at least 5 consecutive passes. (8 Cost)
The Ball is My Friend

Greatly decreases Dash Dribbling's Spirit Cost. Requires Appeal Mission involving getting high Friendship Rank with Tsubasa and achieving S Overall Rank 4 times. (8 Cost)

Bond with Tsubasa

Greatly increases Technique and Speed when playing together with Tsubasa. Obtained after reaching Friendship Rank S with Tsubasa. (3 Cost)
Fantasista
Skill
When on the ball, greatly increases Kick Gauge charge speed if at least 2 opponents are nearby, greatly increases movement speed if at least 3 opponents are nearby and eliminates Spirit Costs if at least 4 opponents are nearby. Requires Tsubasa's limited edition Friendship Card from the Nankatsu Event Match and an Appeal Mission. (10 Cost)
