Description[]
U-22 Denmark first appeared in Golden-23 ch.14 "First Step To The Gold Medal". With an average of 1.84 cm[2], the squad are not only tall players but have long limbs as well. The "Gulliver Army"[1] are Denmark's defense and proved to be a difficult opponent for Japan to destroy its defense.
Coach Mario Nielsen's tactic is using 9 men to defend, using their physique in which they have total confidence, and relying on Haas and Christiansen - the two-top forwards of the team - to score goals, despite their problematic and impulsive personalities.
